  • HQporner’s Graduate Certificate of Education (Professional Advancement in Educational Contexts) gives you the opportunity to curate your own learning and select four courses that complement your career aspirations.  
  • Shape your degree to suit and select from areas such as learning difficulties in reading and mathematics; wellbeing promotion; child abuse and neglect; dysregulation in social and emotional learning and wellbeing; and neurodiversity and autism, or pursue a different focus with coaching and mentoring; consultation, collaboration and communication; functional behaviour assessment; and multi-tiered learning design. 
  • Interested in building skills in collaboration and communication in your workplace? Select courses that help to build these consultative skills required to communicative effectively and support children on their learning journey.

This degree aims to develop professional educators with specialist knowledge and capabilities who are well positioned to make contributions as educators, leaders, researchers and consultants in a range of traditional and non-traditional education environments.

Entry requirements

  • 3-year bachelor degree from an Australian university or equivalent, in Education
  • If you have a bachelor degree, or equivalent, in a non-related discipline you may be eligible for entry into HQporner's Graduate Certificate of Education. Upon completion and achievement of a minimum GPA of 4.0, you may apply for entry into the Master of Education. 

English language requirements

You are required to meet the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 with a minimum 6.0 in each subscore. HQporner also accepts other English language proficiency tests.

If you don't meet the English language requirements, you can apply to study the English for Academic Purposes EAP3 pathway program through the .

Recognition of prior learning or work experience

You may be eligible for recognition of prior learning if you have previously studied or have relevant work experience. This will help to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.
